Hi All,
Due to the expected water level on the Milwaukee River, we are moving the Saturday trip to the Menomonee River on the west / southwest side of Milwaukee. Please meet at 9:30am at the take-out which is a little stub/dead-end road just off of 4202 W. Bluemound Road, Milwaukee. There is plenty of parking down in a cul-de-sac with easy access (egress) from the river. Google maps works best for finding this take-out. One issue there are no restrooms at this location. The nearest restrooms are about 1 mile away so be sure to stop somewhere in Milwaukee before you get there. From here we will shuttle up to the put-in. The entire run is about 6.2 miles and the river is an easy class I/II river. We will be going to an early dinner after the trip, if you want to join us, please let me know so that I can give the restaurant a head count. Hope to see you there, should be a fun day on a new river. Weather for Saturday (for Wauwatosa) says morning clouds, afternoon sun, and a high of 57F ... near-perfect paddling weather.
